There has always been a battle between good and evil...
Forever a balance in the universe. Between good and evil lies the gray; not always pure and yet not entirely perverse. How you walk that muddied line in the sand is how you live. Not everything is black and white. Not everything is always how it appears.
All hail King Bellamy! All hail his name for it’s written upon his headstone where he now lays to rest. King Richard ruled just over 18 years after having taken the throne (and the head) from the “Crazed King” Tyranian. But now, there was little preparation for such an untimely death, leaving a boy-Prince too young and spoiled to serve as King, and a single solitary note by Richard himself claiming that his Right Hand and childhood friend, Lord Ethan Stuart rule until James Bellamy comes of age and takes a wife.
Who could expect every corner of the Seven Kingdoms to lay down their swords and accept a dead King’s wishes? Despite that letter, King Richard’s late wife the former Queen Celine fights tooth and nail for her son, and her own, rulership and overrides every move Ethan Stuart makes. The Minor House Bellamy led by King Richard’s brother Stanford rises up to take a stand as well as the Lancasters, one of the three most prominent families in the entire realm. Yet, though the Lancasters are sitting on the throne with Celine born Lancaster herself, their name is whispered as the hand who murdered both the King himself as well as the Lord of The Arris. And don’t forget about the other secrets no one knows about them…
The strife and political upheaval extends all the way to Donadar where a civil war rages between the supporters of both Lord Marlynn’s daughters as they bash one another for right to rule and overthrow the old laws. The Tripoli’s, the once peaceful, trading land by the sea have been plagued by greed and lust, overtaken by pirates and thieves upon their shores. The Trystons still suffocate amid the power-Houses, but it’s the underdogs you must always watch out for, and the Blackhearts…well, remember their name. Finally, certainly far from least, are the Divikor, fighting their own battles for dominance on the outskirts of Vaes Vikor as Khal Khaostor takes the last Tyranian woman as his wife despite the separation it causes in loyalties. With her by his side, and her brother’s focused mind, it may just be enough to earn the Tyranians back that crown once more.
It's a twisted game being played by the hands of good and evil, and when one gets ahead, the other has to work harder to surpass them. Pick a side...it's likely the most important decision you'll ever make.
We are an RPG based off George R.R. Martin's concept for Game of Thrones, but don't worry! We are AU and want users to bring their creations and ideas to the new world we've created. We provide many resources to help get the 'feel' of the world out there, and no one will feel uncomfortable or overwhelmed if they haven't experienced the books or television series.
