In the middle of the Riverkeeper's territory, deep within the forest, there is an enormous lake. The water is clear and clean, but the center of the lake is so deep that one can't see the bottom. The land around it is almost sandy and has only rocks and boulders outside of the tree line. The banks are extremely shallow, reaching only ankle-deep for a few feet in; the depth of the deepest part of the lake is unknown to all without gills. Many kinds of plants grow in this lake, some even edible; there are also many creatures, not just fish. The fish, though, come in all shapes and sizes - from only a few inches long to several feet. This lake is home to most of the Riverkeepers; they congregate here for pack meetings, and many live either in the lake or on its shores.

rainforest

Most of the Riverkeepers' territory is covered in rainforest. The air is so humid within the trees that Riverkeepers can walk freely throughout the forest without fear of dehydration. The vegetation here is unique, found only in certain parts of the rainforest. Many plants are colorful and have strange shapes; they also have many uses, such as food or medicine, which is why the Healer can often be found wandering here. The trees are also strange, of various sizes and forms, though most of them are quite tall. Little sunlight penetrates the leafy canopy. Rain is common, and so is prey, so this is the perfect place for the Riverkeepers to inhabit.

ocean

The eastern side of Ilisthmira is all coastline leading out into a vast sea; the southern half of the coast belongs to the Riverkeepers. The beaches of their territory are quite varied. Some parts are rocky and full of cave-filled cliffs while others are smooth and sandy, some beaches stretch for half a mile before hitting the water while some break directly to the sea, some have soft white sand while other parts are covered in slick black pebbles. Some Riverkeepers call this place home, spending their days swimming through the ocean, but not many like the feel of the salty water. There are plenty of fish in the water, but there are also plenty of predators like leopard-sharks.

riverkeepers
As a species so dependant on water to survive, it is no wonder that the Riverkeepers' territory is humid and full of rivers and lakes. A rainforest makes up most of the territory, but off the coast of Ilisthmira lies a small island that they also live on. They are a mysterious species that mostly keep to themselves, harboring little threat of attack from the neighboring Terrians, Farens, and Silvers.
